Laia Picas Rodoreda
Laia speaks Catalan and is learning Friulian (the language of Friuli Venezia Giulia region), she loves lamps and Marina Garcés. She says she knows how to wear a lampshade in a thousand different ways.

Who is Laia
Laia holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Master’s in Cultural Management. She trained in contemporary circus at the Rogelio Rivel and Flic schools, specializing in aerial rope.
She speaks Catalan and is learning Friulian, loves lamps and Marina Garcés, and claims to know how to wear a lampshade in a thousand different ways. Co-founder of Cia La Llucana, she created La Donna Lampada, a project that challenges individualism and promotes artistic cross-pollination.
She lives in Udine and is part of the Circo all’inCirca community. She believes in the power of the collective, a value she carries forward with Less Kuerdas, an aerial rope collective, and with Drift, a show supported by ZirkusOn and shortlisted for the pre-selection of Circus Next 2023.
