Sarah Ferretti

She began working with Circo all’inCirca after taking part in Brocante, the international contemporary circus gathering in Val Colvera, together with her classmates from the FLIC Circus School in Turin. There, she met several circus artists living and working in Friuli Venezia Giulia and decided to stay, developing her own artistic research and practice in the performing arts.

Who is Sarah

When I was a child, I wanted to be an artist. In high school, I discovered the trapeze and fell in love with it. With only a vague idea of what circus really was, I left to study at FLIC Circus School. My final period at the school coincided with the Covid pandemic. My classmates and I spent more time stuck at home than at school, and that was the year when scenography began to take over from circus technique in my artistic practice. This is how my first artistic project, “Cosa Vedi?”, was born.
